An updated vintage classic.  Comparable to the 1950s era of Giardinelli and Vincent Bach Mt. Vernon classics in sound but with modern accuracy, intonation & ergonomics.

Vintage mouthpieces are fraught with difficulties in modern usage; they often have rims that greatly differ from modern tastes; including sub 17mm inner diameters!  They're also optimized for different tapers than the ubiquitous "Geyer-style" horns of today and have some funny slotting and intonation.

The GC takes the sound and character of these mouthpieces and packages it up with a standard threaded junction, a lighter, more responsive blank and a more powerful fff that can punch through when you need it.

The v2 of this cup is acoustically identical but adds 3 grams of mass to the blank to help give it more core and slot better on most horns.
