A middle-of-the-road trumpet-style rim for our horn cups. Whether you're coming to modern horn or are a trumpet player doubling on baroque high horn you'll find this to be a familiar and comfortable rim. It has a 17.0mm nominal (.670") which is on the larger side of trumpet rims (but not egregiously so - similar to a Bach 1C).
This rim lets trumpet players approach the horn with a familiar rim but produce a true horn sound since the acoustics of the cup are native to the instrument. The rim itself also has a greater degree of cushioning than a horn rim so any player struggling with the standard setup could consider the Rim T as alternative to the typical rims for the instrument.
We do not generally stock these so expect 3-4 weeks for fulfillment, but unlike the custom rims these are returnable if they do not work out for you.
