An updated version of the classical small I.D. mouthpieces from the 20th century and before. Horn rims were originally not so different from those of the baroque trumpet and many earlier mouthpieces showed the influence and convergent evolution between the two mouthpiece styles. We're far from the first to have this thought; some of the most common mouthpieces on the market were made by trumpet players and pedagogues (Schilke, Bach, Laskey to name a few) and that tradition shows in their rims.
The T is a true horn rim but is informed by this history; it will support players looking for a narrower inner diameter (in this case 17mm).
