Shipping costs 😭

It's with a heavy heart that I have to discontinue the Economy USPS $5 shipping option.  For the first 50 or so orders it was cheap and reliable, if not exactly speedy.  Unfortunately that run has come to an end and they've lost 3 packages in the last week, bringing the total loss rate up to 5% and 10% in the last month.  If it were just slow, we could accept that, but with the loss rate so high and sheer luck alone that I've had inventory to replace everything quickly I just can't risk using USPS, especially with one-of-a-kind items (like custom rim returns) going out.

Going forward we'll be offering $10 UPS ground and $15 UPS 2nd day air as our express option.  Since the local drop-off point is only M-F packages after business hours Friday will have to wait until Monday to enter the mail stream.

We know we're not the cheapest out there; far from it.  We think the value is there for our products but we'd love to be able to make our mouthpieces more accessible.  We're working on some big projects to bring the lead-times down and potentially lower the cost of some of our most popular models, both by offering silver-plated brass rims and moving manufacturing in-house.  Stay tuned for updates!
