The Model MG

We're re-introducing the Model MD under a new name with a design tweak to improve play-ability and align it more with it's original design intent of being a Mainz-optimized version of the Model G.  The old MD had some issues, particularly that it could feel tight and had a questionable F side.  These characteristics aren't shared with the Model G at all which is particularly well regarded for its response on the F side in the low register; so clearly we had some room to improve.

The MG is an evolution of the MD which it replaces - MD players would notice enough of a difference that we decided to give it a new moniker, and the new name emphasizes it's connection to the Model G over purely it's high horn potential.  It's still fantastic in the high register but it's a better, more well-rounded offering.
