Produces a characteristic sound for the natural horn - a dense core that starts gentle but brightens up when pushed, with a lessened difference in timbre between stopped and open notes.
Developed with extensive testing and feedback from our friend Dr. James Hampson of Hampson Horns. We went through a number of iterations and prototypes to ensure broad compatibility across a wide range of historic instruments - valved and natural and to make sure the design gave a good balance of efficiency and flexibility.
