Titanium rims!  Extremely hypoallergenic with no coatings to wear out these are truly "forever" rims and just 5.5 grams.  Added bonus - Titanium is 20x less heat conductive than brass so you don't get that "cold mouthpiece on the face" feeling.

These have a nice smooth curve on the playing surface and have a traditional middle-of-the-road cushion.  The specific curve of the rim helps with flexibility & works with you as you roll in to the higher notes and we find them to be less fatiguing than other rims we've tried.

If you already have a giardinelli-threaded rim that you're happy with, skip right along.  And if you need something else Houghton, Houser, Osmun, Marcinkiewicz, Moosewood, Atkinson and probably others make wonderful rims.  Of course they make cups too, but at least in the cup business we feel we bring something to the market others don't.  Rims are so personal we'd never presuppose to make a "perfect" rim.
