The MG a Mainz-optimized version of our Model G. The MG speaks with a brilliant, clear sound across all registers with easy, consistent articulation. Our first choice for Alexander descants and triples, it's also an excellent option for players looking for a brighter, more responsive option than the Model M for their 103 or Geyer-style Alexander.
This is an evolution of the former MD cup designed to play with a little more center to the sound and feel a little less tight on the air stream. The new name also reflects its relationship to the Model G just as the GM reflects its relationship to the Model M
First batch is still pending so expect 3-4 weeks for delivery (Late October 2026) after which point they'll be in stock like a regular model.
